WONDER GEL - STAIN-O-KLEAN-160 : A Low-fuming Pickling Paste for Stainless Steel

STAIN-O-KLEAN-160 is designed to eliminate various forms of damage on all types of stainless steel, including heat tint, weld-discoloration, oxide scale, and rust. This chemical can be used on standard steel grades such as 304, 308, 316, and 316L, as well as nickel and copper-nickel alloys. It should be used at a temperature between 10°C and 40°C.

Using STAIN-O-KLEAN-160 provides several benefits. It can restore damaged stainless steel surfaces, including weld seams, by removing defects such as weld oxides and the underlying chromium depleted layer that may cause local corrosion. Furthermore, this chemical does not contain chlorides or sulfuric acid, which means there is no risk of corrosive damage to the steel. Additionally, the absence of abrasives in STAIN-O-KLEAN-160 prevents any damage to the surface finish. Finally, this product offers improved pickling results, providing a brighter surface with less discoloration than traditional products.
