DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATIONS:
STAVINOX NiCu7 is a basic type electrode developed for welding or facing Monel alloys 400, R 405, K 500 and Monel clad steels. It has excellent mechanical properties, and the weld metal is free from porosity and withstands corrosion by sea water, salts and reducing acids. It is also suited to dissimilar welding of Monel, covering joints between monel, nickel-copper alloys and carbon steel, low alloy steel, copper and copper-nickel alloys. The working temperature range is –196°C to +450°C, and the weld deposit is similar to E NiCu7.
