DESCRIPCIÓN Y APLICACIONES:

Martensitic steel deposit with fine carbides of W, Cr & V, offering excellent metal- metal wear resistance and retaining "Hot hardness" up to 550°C.

Repairs of forging dies, hot working tools, press jacks, hot draw rings, and hot cutting and up setting tools are the typical use. Further, it surfaces tempered faces and tool edges in low and alloyed high tensile steels, with excellent heat & corrosion resistance.

Typical parts: hot shearing knives, shear blades, trimming & blanking dies, press dies & punches, cutting tools, hot working tools, and hot forging dies & hammers

CARACTERÍSTICAS ÚNICAS:

• Abrasion & impact protection at high temperature from chrome – tungsten-vanadium.
• Soft fusion with no spatters, and the slag releases itself.
• A fine balance of “Hot” wear resistance & machinability( especially with A 24 as a buffer layer, or limited to max 1-2 layers).
• Works for metal forging & well as other tooling dies( cutting….)
