STAVINOX 7018(SP)

DESCRIPTION & APPLICATIONS :

STAVINOX 7018(SP) is a basic, heavy-coated, low hydrogen iron powder electrode that gives tough, crack-free welded joints, even on steels with a carbon content up to 0.40%. It handles well in positional welding. The weld metal is of radiographic quality and has good toughness down to -50°C.

Its excellent mechanical properties make it suitable for critical applications in industries such as offshore, nuclear and pressure vessels, and for building equipment exposed to heavy dynamic load, impact and severe service conditions, including sour gas service.
