STAVINOX HARD OA 70

Open arc self-shielded flux cored wire that is designed to withstand severe wear caused by fine particle abrasion or erosion, as well as moderate impact and temperatures of up to 450°C. The deposits created by this wire are grind-finishable, and for heavier build ups, it is recommended to use STAVINOX HARD OA40 as a base or build-up layer.

The wire is made from an alloy base that includes carbon, silicon, chromium, and molybdenum, and has a typical hardness of 57-60 HRc.

This welding wire is commonly used in applications where there is significant wear and tear, such as in pulverizing roller segments and tire segments in coal, limestone, and clinker mills. It is also suitable for wear protection of steel components in the quarry and dredging industry, as well as in pug mill augers, screws, blades, and scrapers, draft fans, drag chains, press screws, and conveyors.
