STAVINOX HARD OA 72

The open arc self-shielded flux cored has excellent resistance against grinding abrasion and moderate impact. A complex carbide hardness is attained in a single layer, with deposits that are smooth, flat, and can be finished through grinding. For heavier build-ups, this is recommended as a base or build-up layer.

The alloy base comprises of C, Cr, Nb, and B, resulting in a typical hardness of 62-65 HRc.

This material is commonly used in exhaust fans, buckets, track pads, lip plates, teeth points, scrappers, dozers blades, pug mill augers and segments, press screw heads, humidifier paddles and segments, mixer blades and scrapers, fan blades, and similar applications.
