STAVINOX HARD OA 71

Open arc self-shielded flux cored wire that is specifically designed for severe abrasion and corrosion, combined with moderate impact. The weld deposit produced by this wire contains a high percentage of carbides, which gives it a polished appearance and reduces friction. The wire is also highly resistant to compression and is suitable for multilayer build-up. It has excellent machinability and can resist deformation.

The wire is made from an alloy base that includes carbon, silicon, chromium, and manganese, and has a typical hardness of 57-60 HRc.

This welding wire is commonly used in applications where severe abrasion and corrosion resistance are required, such as in crusher parts, conveyor screws, mantles, mill guides, agitators, mixer blades, dozer blades, bucket teeth, mill hammers, wear plates, and other high-stress components.
