OVERVIEW:
An iron powder, basic type electrode that resists moisture and controls hydrogen, intended for boiler, storage vessel and pipe line construction at service temperatures up to 525°C. It is an excellent all position electrode for creep resistant 0.50 Mo and 1% Cr- 0.50% Mo Steels.
USES:
Delivers tough, reliable x-ray quality welds on cast steels, low alloy and high tensile steels...pressure vessels, tubes, cement kilns, heavy equipments, machine frames & chassis.
STAVINOX 7018-G
OVERVIEW:
STAVINOX 7018-G is a basic coated, low hydrogen, iron powder electrode of the LMA type that gives tough, crack-free welded joints. It has a stable, concentrated arc, very easy slag removal and a smooth weld bead, and it performs excellently in positional welding. Welds are of X-ray quality.
USES:
Suited to welding high tensile steels, earth moving equipments and heavy structures that carry dynamic loading and mechanical restraint.
