STAVINOX 430
STAVINOX 430 (DESCRIPTION):
Basic-coated, low-hydrogen MMA electrodes for welding 15-17 % Cr steels (AISI 430). Since these steels harden in air, pre-heating and stress relieving are needed to give them enough ductility for mechanical working.
STAVINOX 430-26 - DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION:
A high-performance rutile-coated electrode for welding stainless, heat-resistant and cold-tough steels and cast steel types. It is used on identical ferritic and similar heat-treatable steels and cast steels, 15-17 % Cr (AISI 430). It suits surfacing and plating on scaling surfaces, and on water, steam and gas fittings made from unalloyed or low-alloyed steel and cast steel. It is ideal for surfacing rails subject to wear, and can be used for refurbishment and repair up to 475°C.
