DESCRIPTION & APPLICATIONS :
STAVINOX 7024 is a high-efficiency iron powder electrode built for outstanding deposition rates, with a deposition efficiency of approximately 140—150 % . It offers excellent arc stability, soft fusion, fine ripples, self releasing slag and very low spatter. It is applied to heavy steel structures, storage tanks, bridge girders, earth moving equipment fabrication, pressure vessels and the like, and is often used for butt-welding heavy-thickness plates and for fillet welds.
It is a rutile-type, heavy-coated iron powder electrode with a deposition efficiency of approx. 165%, designed for butt and fillet welds, large weld sections and long fillet welds.
