FEATURES:

• A unique dual core stops the electrode overheating, even in adverse applications, and removes pin & blow holes as well as the need for pre – heating.
• Extra strong arc drive allows joining in all positions – it degreases & cleans oily cast iron and burns off surface contaminants, including rust, scaling & oxides, before weld metal transfer.
• Highly efficient weld metal transfer completely eliminates electrode overheating.
• Performs excellently on poor quality porous castings – the surface is cleaned automatically for stronger weld joints.
• Versatile – works successfully on virtually all types of cast iron.

DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION:

STAVINOX CAST BI-METAL joins all weldable cast iron grades to themselves or to low carbon steel alloys. Suitable materials: grey, nodullar, malleable and ductile iron, “Ni – Resist”, meehanite and nickel alloys.
