STAVINOX CAST NM

DESCRIPTION:

STAVINOX CAST NM is a nickel-free, non-machinable answer to difficult cast iron. It seals in the contaminants that cause porosity before finish welding with nickel electrodes, and it is a superior alloy for dirty or burned cast iron.

FEATURES:

• Bonds to greasy, rusty & burnt cast iron where other electrodes will not.
• A “fast freeze” action keeps weld defects & porosity to a minimum.
• Its colour & co - efficient of expansion are a close match to cast iron, giving a professional finish.
• Excellent for positional welding.
• Welds successfully without preheat.
