STAVINOX 550
DESCRIPTION:
STAVINOX 550 is a hard surfacing electrode for tough, hard, impact-resistant and abrasion-resistant surfacing of unalloyed and low-alloyed materials with higher tensile strength.
HARDNESS : 57-60 HRC
FEATURES:
This hard surfacing electrode produces a tough, hard deposit that resists impact and abrasion, for use on unalloyed and low-alloyed materials with higher tensile strength.
WELDING INSTRUCTION:
Hold a short arc while guiding the electrode. For materials sensitive to cracking, a buffer layer of 18/8Mn type is recommended. Low-alloyed and high-carbon tool steels and similar grades must be preheated to 200-400°C, depending on composition and thickness. After surfacing, allow slow cooling in still air.
