STAVINOX 650
DESCRIPTION:
STAVINOX 650 is a high-alloyed, air-hardening electrode that deposits Non-MACHINEABLE weld metal, with a deposit free from cracks, porosity and slag inclusions.
HARDNESS: 58-60 HRC
FEATURES: A high-alloyed, air-hardening electrode whose Non-MACHINEABLE weld metal is free from cracks, porosity and slag inclusions.
WELDING INSTRUCTION:
Hold a short arc while guiding the electrode. For materials sensitive to cracking, a buffer layer of 18/8Mn type is recommended. Low-alloyed and high-carbon tool steels and similar grades must be preheated to 200-400°C, depending on composition and thickness. After surfacing, allow slow cooling in still air.
