ER NiCu-7
ER NiCu-7 is a nickel-copper alloy welding wire containing typically about 65% Nickel and 30% Copper, with controlled amounts of Iron and Manganese. It was developed for welding Monel-type alloys and other nickel-copper materials. The filler metal resists seawater corrosion, salts and many chemicals very well, and its weld deposits are strong and ductile with good crack resistance.

Main Features and Benefits
ER NiCu-7 is made to give strong, corrosion-resistant welds in demanding marine and chemical environments. The balanced nickel-copper composition delivers dependable results wherever durability really counts.
- Excellent Corrosion Resistance: it performs very well in seawater, brine and salt-rich conditions, which helps extend service life in marine applications.
- Strong and Ductile Weld Metal: good tensile strength combined with high elongation lets the joint cope with stress and vibration without cracking.
- Low Crack Sensitivity: carefully controlled chemistry lowers the risk of hot cracking while welding.
- Smooth and Stable Arc: controlled metal transfer with minimal spatter gives clean, uniform weld beads.
- Dissimilar Metal Welding Capability: can join nickel-copper alloys to certain steels in maintenance and repair work.
These strengths make ER NiCu-7 a trusted choice for critical fabrication and repair where corrosion resistance and strength cannot be compromised.

Properties
ER NiCu-7 provides dependable mechanical properties and corrosion resistance for long-term service.
- Excellent Seawater Resistance: long-lasting protection against saltwater corrosion, suitable for marine shafts, propellers, pumps and condenser tubes.
- Strong Mechanical Performance: keeps good tensile strength and ductility. The weld metal can take up stress without cracking, even under dynamic loading.
- Good Low-Temperature Toughness: impact strength is retained in cold environments, which suits offshore and sub-zero service conditions.
- Uniform Weld Appearance: smooth weld beads with minimal spatter. A controlled weld pool helps produce neat, consistent joints.
These properties make ER NiCu-7 a dependable solution for industries where corrosion and strength cannot be compromised.
