STAVINOX 2594 MIG

DESCRIPTION : STAVINOX 2594 MIG is a G 25 9 4 N L type solid MIG welding wire, supplied precision layer wound. It deposits a C-25Cr10Ni4Mo weld metal and is meant for use with Ar+2%O2 or Ar+0.5…5%CO2 mixed shielding gases. The wire is used to weld Super-Duplex stainless steels, chiefly in offshore applications, the paper industry, the oil industry and artificial manure production. It is also frequently chosen for root pass welding of 22%Cr standard duplex steels in critical applications, and for welding low carbon super martensitic 13%Cr steels. General corrosion resistance is very good, and the weld metal combines high pitting resistance with good resistance to crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. Its nickel level over matches the parent material by 2-3%, giving an optimum balance of austenite and ferrite in the as welded condition.

DESCRIPTION : STAVINOX 2594 TIG is a W 25 9 4 N L type solid TIG welding rod that deposits a C-25Cr 10Ni 4Mo weld metal and is intended mainly for use with Ar shielding gas. It is applied to welding super-duplex stainless steels, mostly in offshore applications, the paper industry, the oil industry and the production of artificial manure. It is also used for root pass welding of 22%Cr standard duplex steels in critical applications, and for welding low carbon super martensitic 13%Cr steels.
