STAVINOX 347Si / 347LSi
Stanvac International 347Si / 347LSi is a precision layer-wound solid MIG welding wire conforming to the ER 347Si and ER 347LSi classifications. It can be used with argon-based shielding gas mixtures, such as argon with oxygen or argon with carbon dioxide. The weld metal resists corrosive media very well and holds up reliably in stainless steel structures running at elevated service temperatures.
Product details
Key Features and Benefits
347Si/347LSi is made to give dependable welding performance in stainless steel applications that operate in corrosive environments.
- Niobium Stabilised Weld Metal: The deposit is a 19 chromium, 9 nickel weld metal stabilised with niobium, which resists intergranular corrosion.
- Smooth Weld Bead Appearance: Silicon helps give a smooth bead profile and good wetting as you weld.
- High Resistance To Corrosive Media: Performs well at service temperatures where corrosion resistance matters.
- Stable Arc Performance: The arc stays steady when the recommended shielding gases are used.
- Wide Application Range: Fits the fabrication of pipes, plates and pressure vessels.
- Consistent Mechanical Properties: Welded joints keep their strength, ductility and impact resistance.
With these features, 347Si works for shop fabrication as well as site welding.
