STAVINOX 317L

DESCRIPTION : STAVINOX MIG 317L is a solid MIG welding wire of the G 18 15 3 L type, supplied precision layer wound. It is made for molybdenum-bearing, low-carbon austenitic stainless steel and gives better corrosion resistance than 304L and 316L stainless steels. Low carbon protects against sensitization during welding and other thermal processes. The material is non-magnetic when annealed, but welding can leave it slightly magnetic. STAVINOX MIG 317L resists a wide range of chemicals very well, notably acidic chloride environments such as pulp and paper mills, where higher chromium, nickel and molybdenum than 316L stainless steel, with its higher molybdenum alloy content, improve resistance to chloride pitting and general corrosion. Its main uses are welding in Flue-gas desulfurization systems , Chemical process vessels, Petrochemical, Condensers in power generation etc.

FINISH : Bright Finish, Matte Finish, Semi Bright/Matte Finish
