DESCRIPTION & APPLICATIONS :

Applied to metal to metal wear on steel, manganese steel & cast iron, and to repairing and reclaiming tools and dies that suffer heat checking.

UNIQUE FEATURES :

• Particularly suited to metal to metal wear.
• Deposits resist cracking strongly.
• Molybdenum and vanadium are among the alloying elements.
• Offers abrasion & erosion resistance along with Moderate - High impact resistance.
• Many of the properties of H13 tool steel are kept by the weld metal.
• Edges stay very sharp in the deposit.
• Thick buildups are easy because several layers can be applied (Upto 10 layers without stress relieving cracks).
• No galling /spalling.
• Even in multiple layer deposits the slag causes no interference.
