DESCRIPTION & APPLICATIONS :

Hydrogen controlled and basic coated, this hardfacing rod protects parts under impact, compression and abrasive wear. It can be applied to C-steels, cast steels, and both low alloyed and alloyed steels. Deposits are tough-hard and impact tough, resisting cracks; they can only be finished by grinding.

Typical hardfacing jobs: crusher jaws, block presses, wheel rims, bucket edges and teeth, excavator parts, conveyor jaws and cones, rollers, caterpillar tracks, ploughshares, running surfaces, cutting edges etc.
