DESCRIPTION & APPLICATIONS :

With 200% recovery, this electrode deposits a hard surfacing that is extremely resistant to mineral abrasion in combination with medium impact, corrosion and heat up to 650°C (hardness retention is high, up to 860°C).

Operating at temperatures up to 650°C, it is used on agitator fingers, valves, mixer paddles, screw presses, coke crusher and coke crusher segments, ploughshares, ash plows, screw conveyers, exhaust fans, mill guides, rake teeth in furnaces, tong bits, slag ladles, elevator bucket- tips etc.

It is excellent for protecting all iron based parts from severe fine particle abrasion, including in elevated temperature service.

UNIQUE FEATURES :

• Self shielded electrode containing complex carbides, giving extreme abrasion resistance.
• Retention is high up to 300OC, so the properties suit wear resistance at high temperature.
