STAVINOX Stanhard GS 535
DESCRIPTION :
A wire intended for rebuilding hot working tools such as forging dies, press jacks, hot draw rings and up-setting tools. It is equally used to surface work hardened steel, covering low alloy as well as alloyed high tensile grades.
Hardness (Typical) : 38 - 42 once welded
UNIQUE FEATURES :
- The deposit stands out for its toughness and strong resistance to deformation when hot.
- Engineered to withstand distortion and wear at elevated temperatures.
- Creep resistance and impact toughness are the best within the NiCrMoV series.
- Works well on die blocks made to DIN 1.2714 /H-13/H-11.
KEY APPLICATIONS AREAS :Hammers, punches, inserts and every kind of drop & press forging die, for joining, surfacing and build up.
PACKING :
Size 1.6 mm : supplied on 15 kg spools
Size 2.4 mm : choose between 15 kg and 25 kg spools, or 225 kg drums
Size 2.8 mm : choose between 15 kg and 25 kg spools, or 225 kg drums
