STAVINOX Stanhard GS 9580 MOD

DESCRIPTION :

Use it to restore up-setting tools, hot draw rings, press jacks, forging dies and other hot working tools, and to surface work hardened steel, from low alloy to alloyed high tensile grades. The final two layers over GS 535 should be laid with this wire.

Hardness (Typical) : 48 - 52 once welded

UNIQUE FEATURES :

• Developed to hold up against distortion and wear at high temperature.
• The hardness is kept in check, which suits build-ups made in several layers.
• Suitable for use on DIN 1.2714 /H-13/H-11 die blocks.

KEY APPLICATIONS AREAS : Surfacing and build up of inserts, punches, hammers and all drop & press forging dies.

PACKING :

Size 1.6 mm : supplied on 15 kg spools

Size 2.4 mm : choose between 15 kg and 25 kg spools, or 225 kg drums

Size 2.8 mm : choose between 15 kg and 25 kg spools, or 225 kg drums
