DESCRIPTION :

Flux cored wire, self-shielded and open arc, designed for harsh wear from erosion or fine particle abrasion. Service conditions can include moderate impact & temperature upto 450°C. Deposits are grind finishable, and for heavier build ups OA40 should go down first as a base layer.

Alloy Base : C, Si, Cr, Mo

Hardness (Typical) : 57-60 HRc

KEY APPLICATIONS AREAS :

Conveyors, press screws, drag chains and draft fans are typical targets, as are scrappers, blades, screws and augers of pug mills. It also protects steel components in the quarry and dredging industry and the pulverising roller segments & tyre segments of coal, limestone & clinker mills.

PACKING :

Size 1.6 mm : supplied on 15 kg spools

Size 2.4 mm : choose between 15 kg and 25 kg spools, or 225 kg drums

Size 2.8 mm : choose between 15 kg and 25 kg spools, or 225 kg drums
