STAVITRODE A 10
DESCRIPTION & APPLICATIONS :
A rutile-type contact electrode for general work in all positions, offering very good welding behaviour and exceptionally easy handling. The beads are smooth and finely rippled, and they tie into the parent metal with no undercut. Slag releases by itself, and the arc strikes and re-strikes readily. In the as welded condition the welds reach radiographic quality, and the nickel base weld metal is austenite containing a few carbides.
Typical uses include repair of tanks, bridges, ducts, pressure vessels, containers, bus bodies, pipe lines and the like.
UNIQUE FEATURES :
- Universal all-position capability: flat, vertical up & down and overhead welding are all possible without altering the amperage setting.
- With the contact (drag) technique the electrode alloys and welds on its own.
- The welder tires less.
- Very simple to use.
- Low heat input still yields an excellent weld bead.
- Fast deposition.
