STAVITRODE A 16
DESCRIPTION & APPLICATIONS :
Stainless steels such as Types 16-8-2, 316, and 347 in piping systems running at high pressure and temperature are the main target of this rutile-coated SS electrode. A Ferrite Number of no more than 5 FN is typical for the deposit. Because hot ductility is good, there is little risk of cracking in the weld or at the crater, even where restraint is high. The weld metal may be used as-welded or solution-treated. A very carefully balanced chemical composition is what allows the electrode to develop its fullest properties.
UNIQUE FEATURES :
- Suited to pipe welding at high pressure and high temperature.
