STAVITRODE A 63
DESCRIPTION & APPLICATIONS :
Repairing, joining and building up valves made of 174 PH SS, ASTM 564, AISI 630 and certain other precipitation- hardening stainless steels is what this modern electrode is for, with low heat input. Hardness is controlled, so joining and build ups can be done across several layers.
Nearly any valve in 174 PH SS, ASTM 564 or AISI 630 steel can be joined, repaired and built up with it.
UNIQUE FEATURES :
- The alloy combination is chrome-nickel-moly-copper-niobium.
- Soft fusion, nil spatter and self releasing slag.
- Controlled hardness together with high tensile strength suits joining and build-ups.
- Tungsten carbide tools machine the weld deposit fully.
- Deposits are free of cracks.
